Following an Israeli attack on Lebanon, Hezbollah retaliated by firing missiles, one of which struck a main street in Tel Aviv, setting a building ablaze and injuring six Israelis.
Sirens echoed across central Israel on Monday as Hezbollah targeted Israel Defense Forces (IDF) military sites with a barrage of missiles.
According to Israeli media, a 54-year-old woman sustained serious injuries in the attack and is currently in critical condition
In a separate incident, a building in northern Israel was also struck by a Hezbollah missile.
Israeli media reported that Hezbollah launched five projectiles, most of which were intercepted by defense systems.
However, shrapnel from one "heavy missile" landed in the Ramat Gan area of Tel Aviv, causing a fire in a building and resulting in injuries.
Lebanon is bearing the brunt of Israeli aggression, with shopping malls, healthcare centers, and residential buildings targeted in repeated attacks.
The ongoing assault has resulted in the deaths of at least 3,481 people and injuries to 14,786 civilians in Lebanon so far.
Hezbollah and Israel have been engaged in combat since October 8 last year, when the former extended support to Palestinian group Hamas.
The recent surge in hostilities began when Israel detonated pagers and walkie-talkies on September 17, leading to a death toll of 12 and injuring 2800.
Experts warned that Israel aims to turn Lebanon into another Gaza, urging the international community to intervene and de-escalate the conflict before it spirals into a full-scale military confrontation across the Middle East and beyond.
