An Indian woman Anju, who journeyed to Pakistan in July to meet her 'lover' Nasrullah, has recently returned to her home through the Wagah Border.

The 34-year-old woman, now identified as Fatima, had been residing in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since July. Media reports from Pakistan indicated that Anju had embraced Islam following her marriage to Nasrullah.

In a video recorded before her departure from Pakistan, Fatima (formerly Anju) expressed her positive experience, describing the time spent there as "very good." She acknowledged the warmth and hospitality she received from the people.

Initially, Anju and Nasrullah asserted that they had no intentions of getting married, planning to return to India on August 20 when her visa expired. However, contrary to their statements, the couple tied the knot a day after making those claims.

In August, Pakistan granted a one-year visa extension to Fatima (formerly Anju), recognizing her conversion to Islam and marriage to Nasrullah.

Anju, a married woman from Rajasthan’s Bhiwadi district, ventured to Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to meet a man she had connected with and fallen in love with on Facebook. She had informed her husband, Arvind, that she was heading to Jaipur for a few days. However, Arvind later discovered through the media that she had crossed the border.
