A month-old infant, identified as Ella Osama Abu Dagga, was rescued from the rubble of a collapsed apartment building in Khan Younis after an Israeli air raid killed her parents and brother.

According to civil defense first responders, rescuers heard the baby’s cries and worked to locate her beneath the debris.

“She had been under the rubble since dawn, crying intermittently until we managed to pull her out safely,” said Hazem Attar, a rescue worker.

The girl, born 25 days ago during a brief ceasefire, lost her immediate family in the attack. Her grandparents were the only surviving relatives.

Another family, including a father and his seven children, was also killed in the same air raid.

According to Gaza’s media office, at least 591 Palestinians have been killed and over 1,042 wounded in Israeli airstrikes over the past 72 hours.

Officials report that more than 70% of those killed were women and children, while an unknown number remain trapped under the rubble.
