The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported that 81 more Gazans have been killed in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 38,794 since October 7, 2023.

The Israeli army's bombardment has targeted civilian areas, including 8 refugee schools operated by the United Nations (UN) in the last ten days.

The Israeli military has committed atrocities against entire families, killing and maiming people in their homes and even in evacuation centres managed by UNRWA.

The UN has warned that it will take 15 years to clear the debris from Gaza, which is estimated to be hundreds of millions of tons.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) reported over 1,000 attacks on healthcare facilities in the occupied Palestinian territory since October 7.

New satellite imagery analysis by the United Nations Satellite Centre (UNOSAT) has shown that 63% of Gaza's crop fields have experienced significant decline due to Israel's bombings.

On the other hand, the United States, in a rare move, announced new visa restrictions against Israelis who have committed violent acts against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

The US State Department has called on Israel to hold these individuals accountable, stating that the widespread trend of increased violence is regrettable.

Brazil’s ambassador to the UN Sergio Franca Danese has called for an end to the flow of weapons used in illegal acts in Gaza.

Addressing the UN Security Council, Danese also said the “wider Israeli-Palestinian conflict will only cease with an end to occupation” and that admitting Palestine as a full member of the UN would make “it clear that Israel can not determine the fate of Palestine’s sovereignty and statehood”.

Australia’s Foreign Minister Senator Penny Wong has also condemned the recent attacks by Israel in a post on X.

"Australia condemns the unacceptable deaths of innocent civilians as a result of Israel’s operations in this last week, including many near schools. This must stop. Australia has been calling for a ceasefire for eight months. We call on parties to immediately agree to President Biden’s UNSC endorsed ceasefire proposal," her post read.
