The Israeli army bombed a group of Palestinians attempting to rescue an injured child, who was shot by occupation forces in northern Gaza.
A widely circulated video on social media showed the child crying for help after being shot and left wounded in the middle of a street.
As the child lost consciousness, nearby civilians rushed to help, but the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) fired a missile at the people attempting to save him.
The entire incident was captured on video by an activist filming from a nearby building.
While several people were injured in the strike, the exact number of casualties remains unconfirmed.
Recently, footage emerged showing Israeli soldiers shooting at a Palestinian child during a raid on the Al Arroub refugee camp in the West Bank on October 17.
American surgeons who served in Gaza during the military offensive have accused the IDF of deliberately targeting Palestinian children in the head.
There is substantial evidence of war crimes committed by the Israeli military during its Gaza offensive, with thousands of civilians, including children, killed in playgrounds, hospitals, refugee camps, and residential areas.
Around 400,000 people are trapped inside Jabalia, where occupation forces have relentlessly bombarded various areas on the pretext of targetting Hamas.
Northern Gaza is also experiencing severe starvation, as no aid carrying essential supplies has been able to enter the enclave since the start of October, according to the United Nations.
