In a barbaric act of violence, Israeli soldiers killed a 16-year-old Palestinian and dragged his body with a bulldozer in the Far’a refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.
The occupation forces fired multiple shots at the teenager, identified as Majed Fida Abu Zein, during a renewed military assault on the West Bank.
Majed was shot while he was inside the camp, located in the Tubas governorate.
According to the Wafa news agency, after shooting the teenager, Israeli soldiers blocked an ambulance from reaching him and dragged his body out of the refugee camp using a military bulldozer.
The brutal killing occurred as Israeli forces targeted a vehicle in Tubas city, claiming the lives of five other young Palestinian men.
Earlier, a nine-year-old Palestinian girl, Tala Abu Ajwa, was killed in an Israeli airstrike while playing on her roller skates in front of her house in central Gaza.
These latest incidents add to a growing list of horrific war crimes committed by the Israeli army, which continues to act with impunity.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government signals plans to annex the occupied West Bank while carrying out a genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Since the onset of the Gaza offensive in October 2023, Israeli airstrikes have targeted children in tents, schools, and playgrounds, with many being found decapitated or severely burned in the rubble.
The ongoing bombings have left many children orphaned, and they are now facing amputations, disease, psychological trauma, and starvation due to Israel's blockade of aid.
Despite the orders of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to cease military operations in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army has intensified its attacks on the enclave while simultaneously imposing an aid blockade on the starving Palestinians.
As per the UNICEF report in June, children in Gaza have faced an unbelievable amount of brutality, with more than 14,000 killed and many unidentifiable due to the severe harm their bodies suffered.
The overall Palestinian death toll since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza has reached at least 40, 800 with more than 93,534 wounded. Thousands more remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
