The ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza escalated on Friday as 54 more Palestinians were killed in the last 24 hours, Al Jazeera reported.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the death toll has risen to 38,848 since October 7 with over 89,364 injured.

The Israeli army launched a bombardment on the Nuseirat Camp late at night and targeted a refugee school run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

"UN-run schools serving as shelters for displaced Palestinians have been the target of attacks by Israeli forces over the last 10 days," the publication said citing the stats from UNRWA.

Almost 120 educational institutions have been damaged by Israeli sir strikes since October 7.

The Zionist army has also reduced the amount of water available in Gaza by 94 percent.

On the other hand. Yemen's Houthi forces claimed to have targeted Tel Aviv in occupied Palestine and a large blast was reported near the US embassy office in the Israeli city.

One person was killed and at least 10 were injured in the attack, the publication reported.

Earlier, the United Nations (UN) warned that it would take 15 years to clear the debris from Gaza, which is estimated to be hundreds of millions of tons.

New satellite imagery analysis by the United Nations Satellite Centre (UNOSAT) shown that 63% of Gaza's crop fields have experienced significant decline due to Israel's bombings.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) reported over 1,000 attacks on healthcare facilities in the occupied Palestinian territory since October 7.
