During the final press conference  of Antony Blinken from before the exit of the Biden administration, two journalists were forcibly removed from the briefing room on Thursday after grilling the US official over his role in the Gaza genocide.

The video of the incident went viral on social media, drawing widespread backlash over the treatment of journalists who were removed simply for asking tough questions about the US government’s relentless support for Israel while it continues to slaughter thousands of Palestinians.

First, journalist Max Blumenthal asked Blinken in a loud voice, "300 reporters in Gaza were on the receiving end of your bombs. Why did you keep the bombs flowing when we had a deal in May?"

"Why did you sacrifice the rules-based order on the mantle of your commitment to Zionism?" Blumenthal continued, before being led to the door. "How does it feel to have your legacy be genocide?" he yelled.

Blumenthal also took Matt Miller to task, saying that he continued to "smirk through the genocide."

Max Blumenthal was escorted out of the room as he continued asking his hard-hitting questions in a loud voice.

Shortly after the heckling, journalist Sam Husseini interrupted Blinken, saying, “I am asking questions after being told by Matt Miller that he will not answer my questions.”

He stated that Amnesty International had declared in December 2024 that Israel was committing a genocide in Gaza. As he was speaking, he was forcibly removed from his seat by security, with guards pulling him by his arms and legs out of the room.

"You pontificate about a free press... Criminal! Why aren't you in the Hague?" Sam Husseini shouted before being removed from the room.

Joe Biden’s administration extended financial, intelligence, and military support to Israel despite widespread condemnation of Tel Aviv's military offensive against innocent civilians in Gaza.

Despite deadly airstrikes on humanitarian zones in the Palestinian enclave, the Biden administration refused to condemn Israeli war crimes and denied any signs of genocide.

This stance led to the resignation of at least eight US administration officials, with some accusing Biden of ignoring Israeli atrocities in Gaza.
