“Khamenei Is Back”: Iranian media releases anime-style video

A striking anime-style video released by Iranian media has rapidly spread across social media, capturing the attention of viewers around the world.

Titled “Khamenei Is Back,” the animation presents a symbolic story centered on the final moments of Iran’s late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and the continuation of his legacy.

The video begins with a calm and emotional scene inside the leader’s compound. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is shown walking through the courtyard when a baby girl—portrayed as his granddaughter—appears nearby. 

Moments later, the atmosphere changes dramatically. The animation cuts to the sky, where American and Israeli fighter jets are shown flying toward the compound.

Targeting systems lock onto the location, and missiles are launched. Within seconds, a massive explosion strikes the compound, reducing the area to rubble and smoke.

Back at the destroyed compound, silence fills the scene as dust settles over the rubble. Suddenly, a hand emerges from beneath the debris.

A man rises from the wreckage and reaches for the distinctive red-stone ring that belonged to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. After taking the ring, he places it on his finger.

The man is revealed to be Mojtaba Khamenei, symbolizing the continuation of leadership.
