What made the moment even more special was that the couple's two-year-old daughter Xixi presented the iPhones to the employees with her own hands.

A video of the occasion, posted on YouTube by the couple, captured the emotional response of one of the maids, who broke down in tears of joy.

“This is unbelievable! Thank you so much, madam and sir,” they exclaimed.

Leong expressed his gratitude to Sri and Neneng, saying that they had become an integral part of their family.

“You are no longer just the domestic helpers, you have become a part of our family,” the couple said.

Kalanjiam revealed the harsh reality that many domestic workers in Malaysia are not allowed to own a phone, stressing the importance of treating everyone with equality and respect.

"Everyone deserves to be treated equally, no matter their job. My helpers are parents too, working hard to support their children, there is no reason to be unkind to them,” Kalanjiam told the Post.

The heartwarming gesture has resonated with internet users, earning widespread appreciation and praise for the couple's kindness.
