Onijah Andrew Robinson spotted in Dubai en-route to US

Karachi: The American woman, Onijah Andrew Robinson, who was in Karachi for almost four months after falling in love with a Pakistani teenager, has been spotted in Dubai after she was supposed to return to the United States.

Onijah had departed from Karachi's Jinnah International Airport on February 7, bound for New York via Dubai. However, instead of boarding her connecting flight to New York, she appears to have stayed in Dubai.

Videos have surfaced on social media showing Onija with Pakistani friends in Dubai, indicating that she may have abandoned her plans to return to the United States.

Onijah had boarded Emirates flight EK 603 from Karachi to Dubai on February 7, and was supposed to take another flight, EK 203, from Dubai to New York. However, she failed to show up for the connecting flight.

Aviation sources confirmed that Onijah's ticket for the Dubai to New York flight has been cancelled, and she will need to purchase a new ticket if she still wishes to travel to New York.

It appears that Onija, being a US citizen, took advantage of Dubai's visa-on-arrival policy and decided to stay in the city.
