A 10-year-old Zain Aldin Al-Madhoun has been making toys for children using garbage in Gaza to spread happiness and hope among them during the Israeli genocide.
Speaking to Untold Palestine, Zain shared his passion for art and engineering, saying, "I enjoy drawing, engineering, and artistic cardboard shapes. I loved making these things since I was in kindergarten."
Zain's family was forced to flee their home due to the war, and they now reside in a school shelter for displaced people.
"I've created and drawn these drawings and artworks to express what we are experiencing. I convey a message through the things I do."
Zain's toys are not only a testament to his creativity but also a reflection of his hopes and dreams for a better future.

"I wish to travel by airplane, and those tanks leave Gaza, and the cars and motorcycles drive along the sea road," he said.
However, creating these toys has not been easy. Zain faced numerous challenges, including finding materials in the shelter school.
"When I was making this, many things were lacking, I went to look for them, and it took me a long time. I got tired because I couldn't find these things in the shelter school."
Despite the difficulties, Zain remains optimistic and hopes for a peaceful future.
"I wish this war would stop, and the deaths and bloodshed stop. I aspire to be an engineer when I grow up."
Israel has been committing war crimes in Gaza for almost ten months.
Israel's military offensives in Gaza have resulted in devastating losses, with over 40,000 Palestinians killed, including 16,456 children and 11,000 women.
The United Nations (UN) reported that two-thirds of buildings across the Gaza Strip have been "damaged or destroyed." Israeli attacks have also killed at least 270 aid workers.
The restrictions on food, water, medicine, and fuel supplies have exacerbated the crisis.
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) directed Israel to ensure basic services and humanitarian aid delivery in the besieged enclave.
The Palestinian government's information office reported that almost 1.7 million Gazans have been displaced due to relentless air and artillery strikes by the Israeli military.
