A Palestinian woman recounted the harrowing ordeal she endured in Israeli detention, where female prisoners were forced to remove their clothes, and male soldiers conducted searches while mocking them.

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights shared a video of the anonymous woman, who revealed the mistreatment faced by female detainees in Israeli prisons.

The woman described how she was forced to remove her clothes before being searched by soldiers.

"I never imagined that I would be strip-searched, that I would take my clothes off in front of anybody including female soldiers," she stated.

"I was searched by male, not female soldiers. We were held at the Anato detention camp, where we were interrogated and subjected to ill-treatment," the former prisoner added.

She further detailed how Israeli authorities did not provide detainees with mattresses or blankets, and the food was "inadequate."

The women were forced to use toilets while handcuffed, she mentioned.

Prisoners were given "see-through pajamas" that left their bodies exposed. She "shouted and pleaded" for proper clothing to cover herself.

"We were thrown into a yard with 100 soldiers," she recalled, adding that she was kneeling, partially clothed, while "the soldiers laughed and mocked us, smoking and drinking Coke."

She disclosed that she was detained in a large hall with 11 other women who had also been stripped by occupation forces.

"This unbearable scene is still haunting me and has psychologically affected me. I am very tired and despise myself.

The woman shared that she continues to suffer from trauma and is still unable to recover mentally and emotionally from the horrors she experienced in detention.

"This experience has made me hate my body. I swear, I can't even stand the idea of going back to Gaza and meeting my husband," she said in the video.
