Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has invited the family members of 1,000 Palestinians, who were martyred in the ongoing genocide by Israel in Gaza, to perform Hajj this year.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the custodian of the two Holy Mosques issued his "generous order" to host 1,300 pilgrims from more than 88 countries, including Palestinian families.
The families will perform the sacred duty as the guests of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the publication said in a statement.
The order directed the concerned authorities to make a strategic plan to take care of the guests of the custodian of the two Holy Mosques from their departure from their country until their arrival to the Kingdom.
The announcement came a day after the Israeli army launched over 60 attacks on Rafah, killing and injuring dozens of Palestinians.
In the latest attack, Israelis have attacked a camp for displaced civilians in Rafah, in which almost 45 people were burned to death.
Following the massacre, a distressing video went viral on social media showing a man holding a beheaded baby.
In another video, a massive fire was seen engulfing a makeshift camp, while people were searching for their loved ones.
Israel has been bombing Gaza since October 7, in which thousands of Palestinians have been killed, wounded, and displaced due to the ongoing genocide.
At least 35,984 Palestinians have been killed and 80,643 injured in Israel's military offensive on Gaza since October 7, according to the health ministry.
