UAE govt to gift gold jewelry, cash prizes to workers on New Year’s Eve

As part of the New Year festivities, Dubai and UAE authorities have announced a series of special incentives and prizes to honor the contributions of workers who have played a vital role in the nation’s development.

According to government officials, this initiative aligns with the theme “Happy Workers, Thriving Business,” spearheaded by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) in collaboration with other government departments.

Highlighting the importance of workers, Dubai authorities stated that their country was built on the hard work of laborers and the workers are government's partners in progress.

As part of the celebrations, authorities announced that gold jewelry will be gifted to workers' families, along with two brand-new cars for selected workers.

Additionally, 30 free air tickets will be distributed to workers, and a variety of other prizes worth a total of 500,000 dirhams will also be awarded.

In a further gesture of appreciation, workers will enjoy free access to high-speed internet for two days during the New Year celebrations.

Festive events dedicated to workers will be held in areas such as Al Quoz, Muhaisnah, and Jebel Ali, where laborers can participate in activities and compete for prizes.
