A displaced Palestinian mother mourned the death of her minor son, who was killed in an Israeli bombing on a shelter in Gaza on Wednesday.

The emotional video of the mother bidding farewell to her slain son went viral on social media.

The footage captured the mother's anguish as she said final goodbye to her child.

In the video, the mother can be seen screaming in distress as another person tried to comfort her.

She then took her son's lifeless body and sat on the floor, overcome with grief.

In a heart-wrenching moment, she said, "Wake up dear, I've brought noodles for you," as if hoping her child would miraculously come back to life.

The video highlighted the human cost of the Israel's war on Gaza, where innocent lives are lost and families are torn apart.

Israel's military offensives in Gaza has resulted in devastating losses, with over 40,000 Palestinians killed, including 16,456 children and 11,000 women.

The United Nations (UN) reported that two-thirds of buildings across the Gaza Strip have been "damaged or destroyed." Israeli attacks have also killed at least 270 aid workers.

The restrictions on food, water, medicine, and fuel supplies have exacerbated the crisis.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) directed Israel to ensure basic services and humanitarian aid delivery in the besieged enclave.

Earlier, the Palestinian government's information office reported that almost 1.7 million Gazans had been displaced due to relentless air and artillery strikes by the Israeli military.
