A 30-year-old nurse Sophie Colwill was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison after she called her ex-boyfriend, 54-year-old dentist Dr David Pagliero, 1,000 times a day and broke into his house in England's Exeter.
According to The Sun, Colwill and David began a relationship after the dentist's wife passed away. Initially, Colwill brought comfort to David's life, but her behaviour soon turned 'problematic'.
After their breakup, Colwill's love turned into an obsession, the publication added.
David testified in court that the nurse made approximately 1,000 calls daily and installed a tracking device in his car.
She broke into his luxurious home worth £1.35 million hid in his bedroom to await his return.
When David felt her presence in the room, Colwill fled through the living room window.
On another occasion, she also attempted to snatch David's mobile phone. The relentless harassment forced the dentist to seek legal action.
Later, the court sentenced her to 20 weeks in prison and prohibited her from contacting David, visiting his home, or entering the hospital where she worked for five years.
