Wife, family kill man for stopping her from making Instagram reels

In a shocking turn of events, a man in Besarai town in India's Bihar was allegedly killed by his in-laws after objecting to his wife making reels on photo and video sharing platform Instagram. The couple had been married for six years and had a five-year-old son.
The 25-year-old victim, identified as Maheshwar Kumar Rai, was a labourer who used work out of town in Kolkata and had recently returned home in Fafaut village in Bihar's Begusarai.
According to police, a dispute arose between the couple after Maheshwar expressed discomfort with his wife's obsession of creating Instagram reels.
The woman has over 9,500 followers on Instagram and posted over 500 reels on her handle.
As per the details provided by the police, When Rudal, the victim's brother, called the man during his visit to his in-laws late at night, the call was answered by someone else. The conversation led to a heated exchange.
The family of the victim arrived at the in-laws' residence and discovered the lifeless body of Maheshwar Rai.
The father of the deceased claimed that his son had been hanged due to his opposition to his wife creating Instagram reels.
He mentioned that the woman's family members left the house at the time of their arrival.
In the wake of this shocking discovery, police initiated an investigation and sent the victim's body for a post-mortem examination.
The victim's family asserted that upon their arrival at the scene, they observed four individuals attempting to dispose of the body under the guise of transporting it to a hospital.
