Two brothers, seven-year-old Azeem and five-year-old Zain, went missing on January 30 in Karachi. Their mother told Dialogue Pakistan that she had not received any ransom call, nor did she have any known enmity.

"Two people took my children in an auto-rickshaw when they went outside to play," the grieving mother claimed. Casting doubts on her husband, with whom she has an ongoing court case regarding their marital status and child custody, she said, "He is also a father; if he doesn't have his children, he should take action too."

"My children do not even eat their breakfast without me," the mother expressed in deep anguish, urging authorities to find her missing sons. "Pakistan is not safe. My sons are not safe, even if their father took them," she added.
