Man electrocuted while placing election banner on electric pole in Lodhran

In a shocking incident,  a man died of electrocution while placing a banner of a political party on an electric pole in Lodhran. 

Political activities are gearing up across the country ahead of general elections in Pakistan. In a viral video a man can be seen hung dead on an electric pole in Punjab's Lodhran. 

The weather experts have advised people to keep their distance from electric poles due to smog in the area.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly cold and foggy weather for Lahore and plains of Pakistan during the next two days.

As per the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

Under these conditions, mainly cold and foggy weather is expected in Lahore and plains of Pakistan on Wednesday night, Thursday and Friday.

Freezing weather is expected in northern areas of the country and north Balochistan.

Lahore’s minimum temperature will likely remain between 04-06 degrees Celsius on Thursday and Friday.
