After many decades, worshippers visiting a temple in Balochistan spotted a rare Persian leopard roaming at the Nani Mandir.

The video of the wild cat was captured by a person visiting the temple inside the Hingol National Park along the Balochistan coast.

The leopard, scientifically known as panthera pardus tulliana, is mostly found in Iran and Central Asia as well as some areas of Balochistan and Sindh.

Persian leopards are a panther sub-species native to Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and the Caucasus.

They are extremely rare, however, and listed by the IUCN as endangered.
