Gold, silver prices climb in Pakistan amid global market gains

Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Friday, mirroring an increase in international rates.

The price of gold per tola climbed by Rs3,000, reaching Rs307,000, according to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs2,571, bringing it to Rs263,203.

This rise follows a decline in the previous session when gold per tola dropped by Rs3,000 to Rs304,000.

On the international market, gold prices also saw an upward trend. The global rate of gold was recorded at $2,921 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking an increase of $28 for the day.

Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market also rose, increasing by Rs31 per tola to settle at Rs3,400.
