Gold price continues downward trend in Pakistan

Gold prices fell further in both local and international markets on Monday.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold in Pakistan dropped by Rs1,600 per tola, reaching Rs347,100.
Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,368 to Rs297,582.
This follows a sharp decline on Friday when the price per tola fell by Rs3,300 to settle at Rs348,700.
In the international market, gold prices also witnessed a downward trend. The international rate stood at $3,289 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a drop of $16 during the day, as per APGJSA data.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs3,497 per tola.
