Islamabad: A landmark agreement was signed in the federal capital between the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) and World Liberty Financial.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, World Liberty Financial — a decentralized financial platform backed by former U.S. President Donald Trump — has signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan Crypto Council.

The agreement aims to accelerate blockchain innovation, stablecoin adoption, and the integration of decentralized finance systems in Pakistan.

The statement added that a delegation from World Liberty Financial, including Zachary Folkman, Zachary Witkoff, and Chase Hero, held high-level meetings with Pakistan's top leadership, including the Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Information, and Minister for Defense.

The purpose of these meetings was to formalize collaboration aimed at promoting blockchain innovation, stablecoin usage, and the integration of decentralized financial solutions in Pakistan.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar stated that a new era of investment and development in the fields of crypto and digital finance is beginning in Pakistan.
