On the international front, spot gold traded near $2,801 per ounce, reflecting a gain of $8.9 or 0.32% from the previous session.
Global gold prices remained close to record highs, supported by safe-haven demand amid economic uncertainty and inflation concerns following U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent tariff measures on Mexico, Canada, and China.
