Gold prices reach record high of Rs 292,200 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan have set a new record, reaching fresh highs on Saturday, following an uptick in international rates.
The price of gold per tola surged by Rs400, reaching Rs292,200, while the 10-gram gold price rose by Rs343 to settle at Rs250,514, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This increase comes just a day after the price of gold per tola rose by Rs1,500 on Friday, marking a new all-time high of Rs291,800.
Meanwhile, international gold prices also climbed on Saturday, with the rate reaching $2,797 per ounce, up by $5 during the day.

In contrast, silver prices experienced a decrease, falling by Rs30 to stand at Rs3,270 per tola.
