Arez Ahmed calls out Nadia Khan for revealing Hiba Bukhari’s pregnancy

Actor Arez Ahmed finally addressed the controversy surrounding Nida Yasir, who announced his wife Hiba Bukhari’s pregnancy on TV without the couple’s consent.

The duo recently appeared on a TV program, where they were asked to share their thoughts on the matter, as their pregnancy news was not revealed by them but was instead made public by someone else.

Arez explained that he and Hiba are private individuals who prefer not to share personal matters on social media. He mentioned that he had casually discussed the pregnancy with Nadia Khan in a friendly setting, as many people in the industry were already aware of it.

Hiba added that she had turned down a few projects by informing producers that she was expecting and wouldn’t be able to work during her pregnancy. This, in turn, led to Nadia Khan also finding out.

At this point, host Nida Yasir revealed that she, too, was aware of Hiba’s pregnancy because her husband, who had offered the actress a project, had informed her.

Nida explained that after learning the news, she assumed the couple might not want to reveal it publicly. In response, Arez remarked, "That was your courtesy, but not everyone has the same courtesy."

Hiba then tried to downplay the situation, saying that people often believe "such news is joyful and shouldn’t be kept private."

However, she added that everyone wants to share personal milestones in their own way, stating, "We had planned to announce it with a post on social media."

Ultimately, Hiba brushed off the controversy, saying it no longer mattered.
