Supermodel Bella Hadid reaffirmed Palestinians’ deep connection to their land in a heartfelt Instagram post. She unequivocally rejected any attempt to strip Palestinians of their identity in light of US President Donald Trump’s controversial plan for Gaza.

As world leaders and human rights activists continue to emphasise Palestinian statehood and condemn Trump’s proposal to transfer Palestinians from Gaza, Bella also stepped in as an influential global figure.

Her post featured an image of a hand painted like a watermelon with the words, "Palestine will always belong to Palestinians."

In a detailed caption, Hadid highlighted the deep-rooted Palestinian identity, arguing that no power could erase it.

"The roots in the ground, the roots in our blood, the roots of our hearts, the roots of Palestinian culture, bloodlines, and history—these are deep roots. Roots that no one, ever, can take away. No matter the power, the money, or the person," she wrote.

Bella shed light on the plight of Palestinians, who continue to endure oppression, hunger, disease, and bloodshed, stating that they do not deserve to suffer such an ordeal.

"Our people—my ancestors—and the Palestinians currently affected by this horror, not only in Gaza but also in the West Bank, deserve basic human rights," she said.

She further stressed that Palestinians should have the right to "remain connected to the land of their ancestors" and that they deserve the freedom to live with dignity in a place where their families, culture, and livelihoods are deeply rooted.

"They should not have to live in fear, humiliation, or under occupation," she added.
