Gigi, Bella Hadid donate $1million for Palestinian families and children

Supermodel sisters Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid, known for their outspoken support for Palestine, have donated $1 million to aid children and families in Gaza.

As per reports, both sisters have collectively donated $1 million to four charitable organisations active in helping oppressed Palestinian families. 

The Palestinian-Dutch models donated to HEAL Palestine, the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), World Central Kitchen (WCK), and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

These organisations will provide humanitarian aid to Palestinian families, including food and medical supplies, support for displaced families, and psychological services during the ongoing Israeli attacks.

Recently, Bella Hadid made a powerful statement in support of Palestine at the Cannes Film Festival by wearing a vintage red-and-white keffiyeh dress. 

Earlier, Gigi Hadid had also expressed her solidarity with the victims of Israeli onslaught in Gaza.

“There is nothing Jewish about the Israeli government’s treatment of Palestinians. Condemning the Israeli government is not anti-Semitic and supporting Palestinians is not supporting Hamas,” she wrote in an Instagram post after the October 7 attack.

Israel has been relentlessly attacking Gaza for over seven months since October 7, despite the International Criminal Court (ICC) ordering a halt to its military offensive.

In a recent Instagram post, Bella Hadid voiced her concern for Palestine and urged people not to become desensitised to the horrors of Israeli actions against Palestinians in Gaza. 

“Palestine is in my mind, in my blood, and in my heart,” she wrote.
