Veteran actor Nauman Ijaz recently shared his thoughts on certain social behaviors during the holy month of Ramadan, stating that instead of practicing patience, people often become more aggressive.
While taking a break on the set of a shoot with Jibran Nasir, who was filming his vlog, Nauman Ijaz maintained that the sanctity of Ramadan is not upheld as Islam instructs.
He emphasised that people tend to lose their temper over minor issues, particularly while driving.

“Pakistanis observe fasts, but they don’t have control over themselves,” he said, adding that many resort to using foul language despite fasting.
The actor also pointed out the reckless behavior he often witnesses at traffic signals, where drivers appear desperate to violate traffic rules.
“Our worst behavior comes out in this month (Ramadan),” he remarked.

Nauman further quipped, “Though we don’t behave well for the rest of the 11 months, at the very least, we should have a little bit of self-control during Ramadan, yet people lose their temper even in this sacred month.”
His remarks resonated with many social media users, who agreed with his observations, pointing out that people often disregard the sanctity of Ramadan by engaging in unnecessary arguments and petty fights, ultimately diminishing the spiritual essence of their fasts.
