'I do purdah now:' Zarnish Khan requests social media platforms not to share her old pictures

Former actress Zarnish Khan requested news platforms on social media to stop sharing her old pictures, as she has embraced 'purdah.'

Zarnish's appeal highlighted her desire for privacy and the personal transformation she has adopted as she focuses on her spiritual journey, rather than pursuing her acting career.

She took to Instagram, stating, “I request all social media platforms, please don’t use my old pictures. I can only request.”

“I do parda now, and it's just… so please.” She added.

Zarnish also explained that she has no problem with news being published about her but said, “Just no pictures in videos.

In 2023, following her Umrah pilgrimage, Zarnish Khan made the profound decision to step away from the showbiz industry and dedicate her life to living in accordance with Islamic principles. 

In a powerful statement of her commitment, she swiftly deleted all her previous photos and videos from her social media accounts, signalling a fresh chapter in her journey of faith.
