Ten dead after horrific trailer-van crash near KPK's Karak

In a tragic incident, a trailer rammed into a passenger coach, killing 10 individuals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Karak. Authorities fear the death toll may rise as rescue operations continue.
The incident occurred on the Indus Highway near Lakki Ghundaki, where a coach carrying at least 16 passengers collided head-on with a container.
Rescue officials stated that passengers trapped under the container were rescued and transported to hospitals.
According to officials, 10 passengers were found dead, with six identified, while the identification process for the others was underway. The rescue official noted that six passengers sustained wounds.
Sources revealed that three injured individuals were in critical condition and were shifted to Peshawar, raising fears of more deaths.

In a separate incident in Karachi's Shireen Jinnah Colony, a tanker hit a motorcyclist, leaving a man dead on the spot.
The police took the tanker into custody, while the driver escaped. An investigation into the matter was initiated.
Earlier, a mob in Karachi's Gulshan-e-Iqbal torched a car after it hit and killed a passerby while attempting to overtake another vehicle.
The incident angered locals, who described the driver as responsible for the accident. The Toyota Fortuner was set on fire.
Police Surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed stated that the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately; however, according to a medical report, he was in his early 20s.
Meanwhile, the injured man, identified as Zeeshan Saleem, 42, was admitted for treatment.
