Indian man arrested for illegally entering Pakistan to meet Facebook girlfriend

A cross-border love story that began on social media led an Indian man to Pakistan. He attempted to illegally cross the border but was stopped by security forces, preventing him from meeting his beloved.
Badal Babu, 30, hailing from the Uttar Pradesh district of Aligarh, entered Pakistan illegally to prove that love transcends borders. However, he was detained by authorities.
It was revealed in the investigation that Badal had fallen in love with the Pakistani girl. The duo met on Facebook, and their online friendship blossomed into romance , prompting him to meet her in person.
Unfortunately, he has not been able to do so.
Earlier, cross-border love brought Seema Haider, mother of four, to India via Nepal, she was arrested with her four children soon after getting to India, where she went to meet her Indian husband, whom she met at the online gaming platform PUBG.
In the same year, Iqra Jiwani, 19, got to India after her online friendship with India Malaim Singh turned into a love story, the couple had tied the knot in Nepal due to the legal barriers.
Moreover, Indian girl Anju, a mother of two, also came to Pakistan and got married to Dir Bala’s Nasrallah.
