Pakistan Railways reduces train fares for Eidul Fitr

Pakistan Railways has announced a 20% reduction in fares for Eidul Fitr, applicable to all mail, express, and intercity trains.

The discount will be available for three days during Eid to facilitate passengers.

According to an official notification, the fare reduction also applies to advance bookings but does not extend to special Eid trains.

Railway authorities have directed booking offices to ensure the implementation of the discount for a smooth travel experience.

Additionally, Pakistan Railways has released the schedule for five special Eid trains to accommodate increased passenger demand.

These trains will include economy class, AC Business, and AC Standard bogies.

Meanwhile, the federal government has declared Eidul Fitr holidays from March 31 to April 2, 2025. The Shawwal crescent is expected to be sighted on March 30, signaling the end of Ramadan.
