A group of Palestinian students has arrived in Karachi from war-torn Gaza to complete their studies as the region's educational institutions remain in ruins.

According to reports, seven students have reached Karachi, with another group expected to arrive in the coming days. They will be enrolled in various educational institutions across the city.

The welfare organization Al-Khidmat has taken full responsibility for their educational and living expenses.

With Gaza’s academic infrastructure devastated, these students have turned to Pakistan to pursue their aspirations.

This follows a similar initiative last October when 27 Palestinian medical students arrived in Lahore to continue their studies.

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) had earlier granted special permission for medical and dental students from Gaza to complete their education in Pakistan.

The decision was made at the request of the Pakistani High Commissioner in London, with PMDC expecting around 100 students to be accommodated in medical and dental colleges across the country.
