Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated in Adiala Jail, announced an end to negotiations with the government.

According to Barrister Gohar, no progress has been made regarding the commission on the May 9 and November 26 incidents, prompting the decision to terminate the talks.

He further added, "Today, PTI Chairman Imran Khan met with the legal team and made it clear that since the commission has not been formed, there will be no further rounds of negotiations."

Expressing disappointment, Barrister Gohar said, "We had hoped that the talks would continue and lead to progress, but the political differences seem too deep to bridge. It's unfortunate that no announcement regarding the commission has been made by the government to date."

It is worth noting that PTI leader and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, had previously stated that negotiations would not move forward unless the government announced the formation of a judicial commission.

Meanwhile, Rana Sanaullah, a member of the government negotiation committee and advisor to the Prime Minister on political affairs, has assured that the government committee will provide a written response to PTI's demands within a day or two.
