Rallies were held in Rawalpindi and Quetta on Saturday to mark the first anniversary of the “Marka-e-Haq” operation, with large crowds gathering to express support for Pakistan’s armed forces.

In Rawalpindi, a rally organised by the Markazi Anjuman Tajran Rawalpindi drew traders, residents, and supporters in significant numbers.

Led by the association’s president, Sharjeel Mir, the procession began from Liaquat Bagh and moved towards Chandni Chowk via Murree Road.

Participants carrying Pakistani flags chanted slogans in favour of the armed forces and national unity during the rally.

Shopkeepers along Murree Road welcomed the procession by showering flower petals on participants as it passed through commercial areas.

Meanwhile, in Quetta, a “Shukriya Muhafizan-e-Pakistan” rally was organised by provincial minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar to pay tribute to the military.

The rally attracted political and tribal elders, as well as members of civil society, who joined the procession to commemorate the anniversary of the operation and show solidarity with the armed forces.
