Water supply to remain suspended in several Karachi areas for three days

The Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) has announced that water supply to several parts of the city will remain suspended for three days as repair work is underway on a pipeline.

The corporation has begun replacing an old, deteriorated 60-inch valve located along the BRT Corridor with a modern pipeline system.

A spokesperson said the repair work is being carried out near the Peoples Secretariat to ensure more stable, and efficient water distribution network.

The spokesperson added that the repairs will continue from November 29 to December 1, due to which water supply will remain suspended to several areas.

Although the work is expected to be completed within 48 hours, water supply will remain temporarily suspended in Saddar Town, Jamshed Road, PIB Colony, and Lines Area throughout the maintenance period, he said.
