Young Naat reciters killed in head-on collision between cars on Indus Highway

Five people, including young Naat and Manqabat Khawaans from Gilgit-Baltistan and their driver, lost their lives in a tragic accident on the Indus Highway near Jamshoro. Their Fortuner collided with a sports utility vehicle (SUV) coming from the wrong side on Friday.
Among the deceased was 15-year-old Khawaja Ali Kazim, an emerging Naat reciter from Skardu, whose Manqabats had gained widespread popularity on social media.
Others who lost their lives included 25-year-old Khawaja Nadeem, 30-year-old Syed Ali Jan Rizvi, and 22-year-old Zain Turabi, son of the late Allama Hassan Turabi.
The car’s driver, 35-year-old Abdul Ghani Mangrio, was also killed in the tragic crash.

The group was returning from a milad in Khairpur and was en route to Karachi when the collision occurred.
The SUV, which was driving on the wrong side of the road, carried six passengers, all of whom sustained injuries. They were traveling from Lahore to Sehwan, to attend the Urs of sufi saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
The injured were identified as Bilal Niazi, Ahsan Niazi, Majir Niazi, Muhammad Ishaq Niazi, Aziz Bhatti, and Muhammad Shabbir. Two of them were transported to Liaquat University Hospital in Hyderabad for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, Shia Ulema Council’s Ali Muhammad Shakir arranged for the bodies to be transported to Karachi.
