WhatsApp admin shot dead in Peshawar after removing member

A man shot and killed the administrator of a WhatsApp group in Peshawar's Regi Safed Sang area after being removed from the online forum, according to the police.
The incident took place in the Regi Safed Sang area, where the accused, identified as Ashfaq, opened fire on the group admin, Mushtaq Ahmed, following a dispute.
According to the police, a first information report (FIR) has been registered on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Humayun, and an investigation is underway.
The complainant stated that his brother, Mushtaq, was the admin of a WhatsApp group and had a heated argument with Ashfaq over his removal from the group.
Humayun, who was present during the altercation, said that they were walking towards Ashfaq's residence to settle the dispute when he unexpectedly opened fire.

In an attempt to escape, the two brothers took shelter at a petrol pump, but Ashfaq followed them inside and allegedly shot Mushtaq, killing him on the spot.
The police handed over the victim’s body to his family after a postmortem and launched an investigation into the case.
