The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday unveiled the top 10 deliveries of the recently concluded Champions Trophy 2025, with four Pakistani bowlers earning recognition.
Mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed featured twice on the list for his dismissals of New Zealand’s Devon Conway and India’s Shubman Gill.
Meanwhile, Shaheen Afridi’s delivery to Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Naseem Shah’s dismissal of Kane Williamson were also acknowledged among the best.
Despite this recognition, Pakistan’s pace attack underperformed in the tournament. Shaheen Afridi conceded 68 runs in 10 overs without taking a wicket against New Zealand, while against India, he picked up two wickets but conceded 72 runs in eight overs.
Naseem Shah managed two wickets against New Zealand, giving away 63 runs in 10 overs, but remained wicketless against India, conceding 37 runs in eight overs.
