Maharashtra’s cabinet minister Nitesh Rane expressed skepticism regarding the stabbing of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, stating that his active demeanor after being discharged from the hospital indicates that he was 'acting.'
BJP’s Minister Nitesh Rane made headlines in the Indian media after making controversial statements during a rally in Alandi, including the use of derogatory remarks against Saif Ali Khan.
“I saw when he came out of the hospital, I doubted whether he had been stabbed or he was acting. He was dancing while walking. Whenever any Khan like Shahrukh Khan or Saif Ali Khan gets hurt, everyone starts talking about it,” ANI quoted Rane as saying.
He also criticised Bangladeshi migrants, holding them responsible for crimes in India. Rane further stated that the migrant should have taken Khan back with him and disparagingly referred to the 'Omkara' star as 'garbage.'"

“Look at what Bangladeshis are doing in Mumbai. They entered Saif Ali Khan's house. Earlier they used to stand at the crossings of the roads, now they have started entering houses. Maybe he came to take him (Saif) away. It is good, garbage should be taken away,” he maintained.
He also questioned the selective outrage, noting that while attacks on Muslim actors in India garnered widespread attention, similar incidents involving Hindu actors often went largely unnoticed.
“They are only worried about Saif Ali Khan, Shah Rukh Khan's son and Nawab Malik. Have you ever seen them worrying about any Hindu artist?” he added.

According to Hindustan Times, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam also expressed disbelief regarding the attack on Saif Ali Khan, wondering how he could appear so healthy so soon after the deadly incident.
The incident occurred at Saif's residence in the early hours of Thursday, around 2:30 am, when an intruder entered Khan’s home. The actor engaged in a scuffle to prevent the burglary, during which he was stabbed.
Indian media reported that Khan suffered multiple injuries over his body. However, his back is stable following surgery, and he is able to move his hands and legs. His condition remains stable.
