Iran releases footage exposing Israeli nuclear facility, identities of scientists, military officials

Iran’s intelligence minister has released footage revealing sensitive details of Israel’s nuclear facility, including the identities of at least 189 Israeli officials, scientists and military personnel. Tehran claimed the information was obtained with the help of Israelis working at these sites.

On Wednesday, Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib, in a televised address, announced that Iran now possesses Israel’s “secret nuclear, military, intelligence, and scientific information” related to its projects and officials.

The footage, released in the form of a documentary, showcased what appeared to be Israel’s highly sensitive Dimona nuclear facility in the Negev Desert. Although widely believed to house Israel’s nuclear program, the country has never officially acknowledged possessing nuclear weapons.

The documentary further displayed passports of Israeli officials, maps of military sites, and other classified documents. According to Khatib, these were leaked to Tehran in exchange for money, adding that the intelligence has helped Iran in targeting Israeli sites during the June conflict.

Another striking claim in the documentary was that Israel had obtained personal photographs of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi, allegedly used to blackmail him. These pictures, Iran claimed were exploited by Israel to sway his stance.

Tehran has long accused Grossi of bias, alleging that he favors Israeli and Western narratives rather than acknowledging that Iran is not pursuing nuclear weapons.

The release of the documentary coincided with a speech by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who reaffirmed Iran’s stance on uranium enrichment. “The American side says you should not enrich at all, but we have not bowed to this pressure before and will not bow now. We will not accept pressure on any issue,” Khamenei said in a recorded message.
