Iranian nuclear scientist killed alongside 11 family members in Israeli strike

Iranian nuclear scientist Sedighi Saber was killed along with 11 members of his family during recent Israeli airstrikes targeting key figures in Iran's military and nuclear programs.
According to Press TV, a photograph of the entire family surfaced on social media, showing Saber with relatives, some of whom reportedly died in the same attack.
The victims included men, women, children, and elderly family members, highlighting the civilian toll of Israeli strikes.
The attack was part of an Israeli military assault that, according to Iranian sources, killed 12 scientists over 12 days of unprovoked strikes. The offensive began on June 14 and ended with a ceasefire on June 24.

Israel launched a series of strikes on Iranian territory onJune 13, and killed several IRGC commanders, nuclear scientists, and military installations. The attacks continued until a ceasefire was reached on June 24 following diplomatic intervention by US President Donald Trump.

According to Iranian officials, the 12-day conflict has resulted in at least 610 deaths and over 4,700 injuries. Health Ministry spokesperson Hossein Kermanpour stated that hospitals have witnessed “some of the most heartbreaking scenes in recent memory.”
Kermanpour added that a total of 5,536 citizens were directly affected by the Israeli strikes, with 971 patients still receiving treatment in hospitals. Among the casualties are 25 medical staff, while nine ambulances were destroyed, seven hospitals bombed, and four health centers damaged during the attacks.
