Israeli forces storm restaurant in West Bank before Iftar

Israeli forces raided a restaurant in Tulkarem, located in the occupied West Bank, on Friday just before iftar.

The forces destroyed parts of the restaurant and assaulted one of the employees, detaining him during the incident.

The raid has sparked outrage, with witnesses reporting the violence and destruction that occurred in the restaurant during the holy month of Ramadan.

The identity of the detained employee has not yet been confirmed, and local authorities have yet to comment on the incident.

According to Al Jazeera, the Israeli army has intensified its ground offensive in Rafah, while troops continue advancing into Beit Lahia and areas further north.

Over 590 Palestinians have been killed since Israel violated the Gaza ceasefire on Tuesday, with casualties rising amid escalating airstrikes and ground assaults.

The Gaza Ministry of Health stated that at least 49,617 Palestinians have been killed and 112,950 injured in Israeli attacks since October 7, 2023.
