Jemima Goldsmith has called out the silence of world leaders as Israel's military continues its bloodshed in Gaza, killing over 100 Palestinian children without facing international scrutiny or action.

Taking to X, the former wife of ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan pointed out the stark contrast in global media coverage.

She highlighted how the alleged killing of Israeli children during Hamas’ attack on October 7 was widely condemned, yet the mass killing of thousands of Palestinian children remains largely ignored.

“On October 7, when 36 Israeli children, including an infant, were brutally murdered, the world rightfully commemorated the tragedy. World leaders condemned it, films were made to ensure it was never forgotten, and Israeli flags were displayed on public buildings across the globe,” she noted.

Speaking about Israel’s renewed assault, which broke the ceasefire, Jemima added, “March 18, when 130 Palestinian children were massacred in their sleep just a mile away, hasn’t even made the front pages. It’s just another day in Gaza.”

Public figures across the world are raising their voices against Israel’s unchecked impunity in committing what humanitarian organisations have condemned as acts of genocide.

Despite international outcry, Israel remains unaccountable for its actions in Gaza.

The latest Israeli assault has claimed the lives of hundreds of Palestinians since Tuesday, with 50 people killed on Wednesday and over 20 more early Thursday.

According to Gaza's Health Ministry, the death toll from the latest Israeli attacks has reached 436, bringing the overall Palestinian death count to 49,547, with 112,719 wounded since October 7, 2023.
