A woman riding pillion on a motorcycle died of a heart attack after being stopped by Motorway Police on GT Road near Sahiwal in Punjab. The Motorway Police also confirmed the incident and launched an inquiry.
According to Sector Commander Atif Shahzad of the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP), a motorcyclist who was stopped by patrolling officers for not wearing a helmet was accompanied by a woman, identified as the motorcyclist's mother.
Shahzad stated that the man was issued a fine on the spot. However, shortly after the encounter, his mother complained of chest pain and collapsed. Despite attempts to revive her, she was pronounced dead at the scene, with preliminary reports attributing the death to a heart attack.
