The disappearance of footwear following congregational prayers on Eid or Friday isn't typically deemed newsworthy unless it occurs at a significant national landmark.

Recent reports indicate that shoes belonging to numerous worshippers were stolen from the vicinity of the Parliament House mosque after Friday prayers.

Among the victims were more than a dozen individuals, including journalists and National Assembly personnel who had come to participate in the mosque's Friday prayers.

Even DG Media Zafar Sultan found himself among those unable to locate their footwear post-prayers. Consequently, worshippers were compelled to depart barefoot and empty-handed following the conclusion of the prayers.
