Fourfold joy as THESE four sisters share the same birth date

In an extraordinary coincidence, a South Carolina family welcomed their fourth daughter, Valentina, on August 25, 2024 - the same birth date as her three elder sisters.

Nick and Kristin Lammert have been celebrating three birthdays together on August 25 and now will add a fourth. Eldest daughter Sophia, 9, Giuliana, 6, and Mia, 3, share the same birthdate with their newborn sister.

"We were really mostly concerned about the health of the baby and myself," Kristin Lammert explained.

"The bigger focus was about making sure she was okay and that it wasn't putting enough stress on the baby, and that I would be okay." 

As the birth approached midnight, the couple found humour in the situation. "And then when it kept getting closer to midnight, we then thought it was funny."

Valentina's birth was unexpected as she was due at the end of September.

"Having a preemie baby is scary and risky, and we don't really want that to happen," the mother said.

Despite concerns, Valentina arrived strong and healthy. "She was tiny, but very strong….And so it just wound up being the biggest blessing."

Kristin's pregnancy was healthy until complications arose near the end. She experienced symptoms of preeclampsia, a condition characterised by high blood pressure and organ damage. 

After hospitalisation, the situation became a medical emergency.

"We thought Valentina would be arriving on the 23rd or 24th of August," Kristin recalled. 

"Then it turned into a medical emergency...And then, when midnight hit on the 25th, we knew she would be there on the 25th; we just couldn't believe that she was coming so soon. We weren't prepared at all."

"My girls think it's the coolest thing ever. I am still literally in disbelief," Kristin exclaimed.
