A 23-year-old woman suffered a cardiac arrest while dancing on stage during a family wedding in Madhya Pradesh. Family members and guests rushed to help her, but her heart had already stopped, and she died on the spot.

The incident occurred on Sunday at a resort in Vidisha, where the deceased, identified as Parinita Jain, was performing at her cousin's haldi ceremony when she suddenly collapsed.

Parinita, an MBA graduate, had traveled from Indore to attend the wedding. A video of the heartbreaking moment has since gone viral on social media.

According to reports,  Doctors attempted to revive her with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but she did not respond. She was then transported to a hospital, where doctors officially pronounced her dead.

Indian media reported that Parinita’s family had previously suffered a similar tragedy, as her younger brother also died of a heart attack at the age of 12.

Several studies have highlighted a rise in heart attacks among young people aged 20 to 30, attributing the increase to factors such as diabetes, hypertension, smoking, and obesity.
